The PARAT 4-way turret-toolpost

The production of precise turned parts places the highest demands on the machine and tool system, with optimum user-friendliness. The continuous development of conventional and cycle-controlled lathes has significantly increased the performance spectrum. The importance of the right tool system to be able to consistently implement these advantages is often overlooked.

If different tools are required for internal and external fits, it quickly becomes clear how important flexibility and stability of the tool system used are.

With its 4 tool positions and a swivel accuracy of 0.005 mm, the PARAT turret offers the ideal solution.

For external machining, 4 tool positions are available, and the physical effort is reduced to a minimum by swivelling the toolholders, which can weigh up to 12.3 kg (without tools).

If external and internal machining are combined to turn both fits in one clamping, up to 3 clamping points are available.

The opening and clamping of the PARAT turret is carried out by a threadless quick-release nut with a quick-release lever. The different toolholders are individually clamped by 4 eccentrics.

We would like to particularly emphasize the clamping screws with thread as well as with thread and internal cooling. In the design of these clamping screws, we have succeeded in making an important contribution to safety. Thanks to a special expansion point, a large part of the energy is absorbed in the event of a collision and the machine is significantly protected.

In most cases, replacing the clamping screw is sufficient afterwards in order to be able to continue working in the desired quality as quickly as possible.

A wide range of toolholders is available as standard for the optimum accommodation of a wide variety of tools.

Of course, we also offer customized toolholders for your specific technical requirements.

We grant a 5-year warranty on the turret and toolholder (excluding wear parts).
